Jeff Levers is the co-founder of Beard Bros Pharms/Beard Bros Media, a trailblazing multi-national cannabis brand, advocacy organization, and grassroots media powerhouse. Alongside his brother Bill, Jeff has been a driving force behind the company’s rise as a trusted voice in the cannabis community over the last decade. Since entering the CA legal cannabis market in 2011 and launching CA licensed recreational products in 2018, Jeff has played a pivotal role in shaping Beard Bros Pharms into a multifaceted entity known for its premium products, industry insights, and unwavering dedication to advocacy and education.
A true cultivator at heart, Jeff brings years of expertise across all aspects of the cannabis supply chain, from cultivation all the way to retail operations and industry events. His hands-on approach and commitment to quality have helped establish Beard Bros Pharms as a respected name in the cannabis market. They currently have manufactured products available in California, Massachusetts, and Missouri, and small batch flower offerings in Canada, with plans for further expansion in 2025. Beyond building the Beard Bros brand into a household name, Jeff’s leadership extends to consulting, marketing, and media production, where his contributions have fostered community engagement and transparency within the industry.
Passionate about cannabis advocacy, Jeff works tirelessly to promote the industry’s growth and sustainability while ensuring it remains accessible and inclusive. Recently both Bill and Jeff have stepped into leadership roles with Freedom Grow, a grassroots 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that’s on a mission to “Bring Light to Dark Cells” by supporting cannabis prisoners and their families.
Through Beard Bros Media and their popular weekly newsletter, The Friday Sesh, Jeff champions important issues like cannabis policy reform, patient rights, and criminal justice advocacy, including the fight for the release of individuals incarcerated for nonviolent cannabis offenses.
A proud descendant of Robert Levers, who was one of the original readers of the Declaration of Independence in Easton, Pennsylvania, on July 8, 1776, Jeff carries forward a 250-year-old family legacy of fighting for freedom and justice. His work with Beard Bros Pharms continues to honor this heritage by breaking barriers in the cannabis industry and empowering others to do the same.
For over a decade, Bill and Jeff Levers, the co-founders of Beard Bros Pharms, have been steadfast advocates for the release of non-violent cannabis prisoners. Now, their advocacy work takes a significant step forward as they join Freedom Grow, an organization dedicated to providing support and resources to those affected by cannabis criminalization.
Freedom Grow, a volunteer-run nonprofit, is committed to restoring justice and dignity to individuals still incarcerated for cannabis-related crimes, despite the plant’s legalization in many regions. The organization focuses on raising awareness, fundraising for commissary accounts, and assisting families impacted by these outdated and unjust policies. For all of these reasons and more we are honored to be a part of Freedom Grow.
