Daniel Muessig, also known as “Dos,” is a 43-year-old from Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh, PA. Former rapper, writer, defense attorney, and developer. In 2019, he was raided and later indicted in 2021 for his involvement in the cannabis market. Since 2022, Daniel has been incarcerated, maintaining his integrity by refusing to cooperate with authorities. During his imprisonment, he became the father of a baby girl, Hannah Nasiah Muessig, whom he has yet to meet. His wife, Laura, is raising Hannah alone. Daniel’s life and career were profoundly affected by cannabis prohibition, leading to the loss of everything he had built.

Dr. David Allen is a retired cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon, board certified in both cardiothoracic surgery and general surgery. Dr. Allen is now a member of the International Cannabinoid Research Society, a professor of endocannabinoid ccience, a cannabis prisoner advocate, expert witness and father. ​

Edwin has served over x24 years in Federal Prison for a non-violent Marijuana crime. He is a victim of the perpetual “war-on-drugs”. Throughout his incarceration, his family has sought numerous ways to obtain his freedom. I got sentenced to 30 years for a non-violent marijuana charge. I was smuggling marijuana out of Canada to new york…30 years. insane in the membrane if u ask me lol! Murderers get out quicker. no joke. I personally know a few people who have committed murders and they both got less than 10 years in prison for manslaughter.. Not fair, but I sold this plant and they give me 30 years. I was only 30 years old when I got sentenced.

I am serving a 365 month sentence for distribution of marijuana. I am a non-violent offender serving an excessive sentence due to enhancements found by my sentencing judge- enhancements premised on the testimony of a confidential informant (*information that forensic testing provided to be false).

The Clemency project should be used in a form to justify an unjustified conviction that promotes harsh sentences based on the distribution of GOD-given substances such as weed as in my case. I really believe the cost of incarceration for people in my personal circumstances is clearly contrary to what society is educated based on marijuana, and the cost to incarcerate for WEED offenses. This substance is a weed that is used sometimes for religious purposes, and I really believe that if society knew that I received 220 months for a weed offense, and the daily cost of the incarceration of 3, 670.00 per day in the Federal Bureau of Prisons society would not tolerate this draconian policy issued by Government.

My name is Jonathan Wall, I am twenty-six years old and a federal prisoner incarcerated for the last thirteen months at the Chesapeake Detention Facility, a maximum security lockup located in Baltimore, Maryland that is commonly referred to as “CDX” as well as the “super-max”. Presently, I am awaiting trial in federal court and if convicted I stand to receive a prison sentence of anywhere from the mandatory minimum of ten years up to life imprisonment, all of it without any possibility of parole. I am 42 years old, and a proud native of Texas. Art has been a means to place my focus on what I had once known was my passion since 6 years old. This was later recognized and influenced by my Art teacher. Setting my mind to perfect my techniques only awakened my desire to practice and achieve the use of paints. I’m currently in federal prison for conspiracy to Traffic Marijuana. I was sentenced to 120 months (10 years). I’ve been waiting on my release from federal prison. I was sentenced on November 3, 2010 to imprisonment for LIFE without parole. I was 28 years of age when the offense was committed. I began serving this sentence of imprisonment on February 27, 2008. I appealed my case to the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

In the first decade of this new millennium, I was incarcerated for four and a half years. My crime was “maintaining a place for the manufacturing of marijuana”. This experience gave me a deeper understanding than most of the inner workings of the federal justice system. Indictment, court proceedings, prison life, halfway houses, and probation all present their own nuances and problems. Once I could put all these difficulties behind me, I felt compelled to do something for those who were less fortunate than I. When I was dealing with the courts, I learned that a life sentence could be a consequence for even marijuana offenses, and I was shocked. Even more shocking was discovering that dozens of regular, normal people had been condemned to this dark fate. Drawing from my own experiences, I knew that these people needed help in the worst way.
