Dannye is serving 30 years in federal prison for cannabis. He was sentenced in 2006 under ‘The Three Strikes Out Law’ for conspiracy to distribute cannabis. He is 55 years old and not scheduled to be released until 4-16-31.
Since Dannye has been in prison he’s earned his Barber’s Apprenticeship. He comes from a long line of hairdressers and barbers! When Dannye is released, he would like to use this platform, as a professional barber, to educate youth.
Dannye has four grown adult children, ages 35, 32, 31 and 26. His mother would like people to know that Dannye is a very good speaker, he has a speaker’s voice, he is a very good listener and she helped instill in him at a very young age to have a presence while speaking! She says, “ Dannye is honest to a fault and he misses eating her chicken and rice!“
