Sign the Petition: Clemency for Federal Cannabis Prisoners

The CAN-DO Foundation and Freedom Grow Forever is urging President Biden to free every prisoner serving federal time for cannabis drug cases. Not one person in the history of our nation has overdosed on cannabis. Cannabis has become a billion dollar legal industry, for some, while others rot in prison for federal conspiracy cases, including people who thought they were compliant with the laws of their state for medical cannabis, but were indicted and convicted in federal court because the federal government has yet to recognize that cannabis has any medicinal properties.

President Biden: Clemency for Federal Cannabis Prisoners

Dear President Biden,

I am politely requesting that you immediately grant clemency or use your presidential powers to release all non-violent inmates serving federal prison sentences for cannabis-related charges. Freedom Grow currently has about 260+ people on our outreach list who are serving time in Federal Prison for non-violent cannabis charges. The men and women on FG's outreach list are parents, children, and siblings, who are sorely missed by their families and friends. They are non-violent and pose zero threat to communities. The sentences they received are disproportionate to the victimless cannabis crimes committed. State by state, laws in support of cannabis use are rapidly sweeping the nation. There are many scientifically proven benefits of the cannabis plant. While the country advances in the cannabis industry, providing opportunities for large incomes, our prisoners remain behind bars and you are the only one that can save them! We believe you are the President who will show compassion when considering commutation and release all non-violent cannabis prisoners.

Freedom Grow is a grassroots non-profit (501c3) volunteer organization specializing in providing both prisoner and family outreach to those incarcerated for cannabis. We advocate for the release of our POWs by attending events and getting letters signed asking the president to free them. Through our ‘Wish Program’, we provide cannabis prisoners with commissary money, books, and magazines. We also provide them a way to stay closer to their family members by helping them give simple gifts, and we hold holiday and school drives for their children. We believe that no one should be in prison for the cannabis plant. We currently have almost 200 people on our outreach list and about 160 of their children on another list!
