In fields of green where heroes rest,
Tombs beneath the sky solemnly claim,
The courage spent, the fight they faced,
For freedom’s call, sacrifice they made.

From distant lands, their echoes soar,
Their bravery remembered from above,
With each soft breeze, their names we speak,
In silent prayers, with honor you live.

The flag flies on high, a symbolic sign,
Remembering their love so divine,
On this Memorial Day, we thankfully say,
With grateful hearts, you’ve earned your place …
Among the greats … for sacrifices made …
For the lives you saved … for freedom’s sake.
