Rainbow Royale Happy Hour

Freedom Grow will be highlighted as one of two highlighted nonprofit partners for the first-ever LGBTQ+ Program at MJBizCon 2025, the world’s largest cannabis conference.

From Allen Ginsberg to Dennis Peron, to Alice B Toklas – queer pioneers ignited the legalization effort by leading with compassion and that same spirit lives on in Freedom Grow’s mission of care and humanity.  Several queer cannabis community leaders and equity license holders today were incarcerated for growing medicine for their loved ones and community during the HIV / AIDS epidemic.

This year, The Cannabis Trail, in partnership with Queer in Cannabis and Tokeativity, is proud to host this inaugural program, which includes:

 LGBTQ+ Happy Hour & Drag Performance at NUWU Rooftop Lounge
 Short film on queer cannabis legalization history
 Expo Activation, Panel & Networking Session and a printed & digital grassroots community LGBTQ+ “zine” distributed at MJBizCon
