WHEN A LIFE TRAGEDY DOESN’T MAKE SENSE

“WHEN A LIFE TRAGEDY DOESN’T MAKE SENSE”

WHEN A LIFE TRAGEDY DOESN’T MAKE SENSE  I’ve stood in front of a burned heap of a broken life. My dreams nothing but rubble and ruin. I tried to make sense of what had happened. I couldn’t find an answer. But as time progressed the feelings of grief finally lifted. I was able to rise back up from a depressive state of mind to live life once more.

Yes, I know. Trying to rise back up isn’t easy, especially when you feel like dying, when you feel that even your faith in God lays there burned up in the ashes of your tragedy. But despite the emotional turmoil, there’s always small steps you can take to deal with such a traumatic experience.

For instance, you can look for small mercies. Through the help of a friend who cares, or through a listening ear that empathizes with your situation; and by keeping a lively hope that things will eventually get better.

Keep in mind that loss or tragedy is not where you find peace, but where you find faith and strength to move forward.

Remember, trying to rearrange the ashes of your tragedy as though you could restore what was burned is not the place where the miracle lies. The miracle lies in believing for a new beginning, a new dream, a new resurrected life.

Yes, from the ashes that have been left burned up in front of you. Trust me in what I’m saying. I’m a living recipient of a life tragedy. And although I couldn’t make sense of it at first, I looked up to heaven and found the strength get back up.

And if I can do it, so can you!

Smile, your life is worth living.
