Kristin Flor
Kristin Flor is the Executive Director of Freedom Grow, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting cannabis prisoners and their families. Her unwavering dedication to the fight against cannabis prohibition is rooted in deeply personal experiences. Kristin’s father tragically passed away due to neglect and mistreatment while serving time for operating a medical cannabis company. She was forced to make the heartbreaking decision to remove him from life support while his ankles remained chained to a hospital bed. At the same time, her mother was imprisoned for working alongside her father. These devastating events ignited Kristin’s lifelong commitment to advocating for those affected by unjust cannabis laws.
In her role at Freedom Grow, Kristin oversees a range of impactful outreach programs, including commissary support, public education campaigns, and the Wish Program—a unique initiative that grants personalized requests to help prisoners stay connected with their loved ones. Kristin also coordinates the organization’s heartfelt newsletters, spearheads clemency advocacy efforts, and tirelessly works to ensure that no cannabis prisoner feels forgotten. Her leadership and vision have been instrumental in expanding Freedom Grow’s reach and effectiveness.
Beyond her work with Freedom Grow, Kristin is a certified breath coach and yoga trapeze instructor. In her spare time, she enjoys teaching breathwork, practicing yoga, and spending cherished moments with her family. Her dedication to healing, wellness, and justice reflects her holistic approach to life and advocacy.
