Hello, thank you for stopping by and taking a moment to read my first blog. I would like to take this moment and share a bit about myself. My name is Ali and I am an innocent cannabis prisoner. I am from Des Moines, IA and I have been serving a 20-year sentence for a wrongful conviction of the count of Conspiracy to Distributer THC – ‘vape pen’. The case # is (4:19-cr-213) out of the Southern District of Iowa. I have been incarcerated since the beginning of 2020.
I am a first-generation migrant to America and went to middle school, high school, and college in Iowa.
I have a son who will be 11 years old this year. I am doing my best to keep fighting for my freedom and justice and I pray to be reunited with my son, family, and loved ones and get back to being a productive and law-abiding citizen of my community and society.
