THE DAY HAS COME

Often defeated, yet always back winningto those discouraging moments unappealingand pursuing what can and cannot beno matter what – you can’t kill meTomorrow, I’ll not regret what could’ve beenthe heartache and pain is only a blurdarkness upon darkness upon darknessGive birth to a new beginning so neartraces of lost memories no longer reignI’ll walk head high up the mountainsideI won’t look back, I won’t look backFear and misery and smoking ashMan’s years stood still and laughedI cried help oh God, help oh GodFair share of bitter tears and sunless joyburn and fade like the wind in timeless spaceI smile, the day has come, the day has come#FreeEdwinRubis
