Elliston Callwood has been in prison for over 27 years for cannabis/cannabis-related charges. He is not scheduled to be released from prison until 8-5-33.
Elliston is 55 years old and from the Virgin Islands. He has 7 loving adult children he would like to return to. His children and the rest of his family are very supportive. He feels blessed to have so much support, he says the love feels ‘immense’.
While in prison, Elliston spends a lot of his time working as a commissary clerk, gym assistant, photographer, and many forms of maintenance work. Right now, Elliston cannot work due to covid. Prisoners make less than .20 cents an hour. He has participated in numerous programs to help better himself that have been offered at the prison. When he gets out, he would like to start his own business
Elliston would like another chance at life. He has failed his attempts in the courtroom, he’s lost every appeal, even though the cannabis laws have changed many times over the years.
