The past couple of weeks has been busy for the Freedom Grow team. Several members of the team got together in Los Angeles to attend the Secret Sesh Industry Night and to help spread the word about our cause.
The get-together was a great success and gave us the opportunity to come together and discuss upcoming events and projects.
We decided to rent a house in Los Angeles so that we could all stay together and grow closer as a team. It was a great opportunity to get to know each other better and to discuss the work that we are all doing.
Stephanie Landa, who is the president of Freedom Grow, was in attendance along with her son Max. Randy Lanier, the vice president, and his son Glenn were also there, as well as Kristin Flor (secretary) and her daughter Trisha. Karly Cramer, who is the volunteer coordinator, was also in attendance.
Freedom Grow at Secret Sesh Industry Night
This past week, we also attended the Secret Sesh Industry Night close to the Arts District in downtown Los Angeles. This was a great opportunity to network with other cannabis industry professionals and to learn more about what is happening in the industry.
We had a free booth at the event, which was generously donated by Timmy of The Secret Sesh. This gave us the opportunity to talk to people about Freedom Grow and our mission.
Our team was accompanied by Amy Povah of the Cando Foundation, PJ, Clint, Naomi, Pete, and Shari, who all played a big role in getting the word out about Freedom Grow.
Freedom Grow Valentine’s Party
After the productive day at the Secret Sesh, we headed to Amy Povah’s house for a Valentine’s party. This was a great opportunity to relax and enjoy each other’s company.
We enjoyed the beautiful scenery of her home and ate some delicious food. We also had the opportunity to talk about our plans for the future and what we hope to achieve.
We would like to give a big thank you to Amy for hosting us and to the Cando Foundation’s continued support of Freedom Grow.
Super Bowl Party with Jason Beck
As our week came to a close, we were invited by Jason Beck to attend a Super Bowl party at The Green Street building in downtown Los Angeles.
This was a great opportunity to watch the game and socialize with other cannabis enthusiasts. It was a fun event, and we enjoyed getting to know Jason and his team better.
Special Thanks
We would like to thank our sponsors and donors, whose support is essential in helping us achieve our goals.
Timmy of The Secret Sesh for the free booth and his generous donation. We would also like to thank PJ, Clint, Naomi, Pete, Shari, and Amy Povah of the Cando Foundation for her hospitality and support. And we would like to thank Jason Beck for inviting us to his Super Bowl party.
Lastly, we would like to give a big thank you to all the volunteers who have dedicated their time and energy to help us grow. We would not be able to do what we do without you.
We are grateful for all the support we have received and we look forward to continuing our work towards helping cannabis prisoners regain their freedom. We are looking forward to continuing our work and Bringing Light to a Dark Cell!
Thank you!
